Freight forwarding
Import and export coordination, with support on port and customs documentation.
Overview
An import or export movement involves more parties than a road delivery — the shipping line, the port, customs, and often a clearing agent. 4Jasmine Dr coordinates the movement between them so that you have one point of contact instead of several.
We support the documentation the movement depends on: checking that the paperwork is complete and consistent before the goods arrive, and following it through the port.
Once goods are released, they can come straight into storage in the Free Zone Enclave or go on to their destination on our vehicles, without changing hands again.

What this service actually covers.
Import coordination
Arrivals followed from vessel to release, with collection booked for when the goods are free.
Export coordination
Outbound cargo collected, documented and delivered to the port against the sailing.
Documentation support
Port and customs paperwork checked for completeness and consistency before it is needed.
Onward storage and delivery
Released goods taken into our warehouse or delivered on, with no second handover.
What's included, and what isn't.
Being explicit about the second column is the point. It is cheaper for both of us to disagree now than on the day.
What’s included
- Coordination of import and export movements through Tema Port
- Checking shipping and customs documents for completeness
- Liaison with the port, the shipping line and your clearing agent
- Collection of released goods from the port
- Onward storage or delivery after release
What’s not
- Customs declarations lodged as a licensed customs broker
- Payment of duties, taxes and port charges on your behalf
- Sea or air freight booked in our own name
- Goods requiring a permit or licence that has not been obtained
Paperwork before cargo.
Import and export documentation is checked before goods move, not after. We tell you at the outset what a shipment needs from you, and where a movement needs a licence, a permit or a licensed customs broker, we say so before starting — rather than finding out at the port.
What we do, and what we need.
What we coordinate
- The movement between the shipping line, the port and the road
- A check of the documents before they are needed
- Collection from the port and onward storage or delivery
What we need from you
- The shipping and commercial documents for the consignment
- Your clearing agent’s details, or a request that we introduce one
- Instructions for the goods once they are released
How this is priced.
- Service
- Freight, storage, distribution or forwarding
- Distance
- Collection to delivery, and any return leg
- Weight / volume
- Space the goods take on the vehicle or in storage
- Handling
- How the goods are packed, loaded and received
- Frequency
- One-off consignment, scheduled runs or ongoing volume
We quote in writing. For repeat volume we agree a rate schedule so you are not renegotiating every consignment.
What we need from you.
Send these six things and the first reply can be a quote rather than a question.
Collection and delivery points
Where the goods start and where they have to end up, as precisely as you can give it.
Description of the goods
What they are, and whether they are palletised, cartoned, bagged or containerised.
Approximate weight or volume
An estimate is enough. If you are not sure, tell us what you do know and we will work from that.
Dates and timing
When the goods are ready, when they have to arrive, and whether either date can move.
Access and receiving hours
Loading bays, narrow streets, height limits, or fixed hours when the delivery point can receive.
Storage or documentation
Whether the goods need to be stored, and any port, customs or delivery paperwork involved.
We support the documentation and coordinate the movement with the port and your clearing agent. Where a licensed customs broker is required, we tell you at the outset.
Yes, through Tema Port.
The shipping and commercial documents for the consignment. We will tell you exactly what a shipment needs when it is quoted.
Yes. Goods can come from the port into the warehouse in the Free Zone Enclave, or go straight on to their destination.
